Time for a bike change
« on: May 29, 2009, 09:00:05 PM »

After 7 years of riding 1000cc sports bikes I have made the drastic decision to sell my 05 Ten  :-(

I have no reason to sell it other than the deep down urge to own a supermoto which i have been trying to ignore for some time, so once the ten has gone i hope to buy this.......

KTM 690 SMC

I will miss the madness of the Kawasaki but im sure to have some fun on this......until it breaks down  ;-)
{full spec of my ZX can be found in the 'for sale' section}

Be careful Rich, don't buy it with your heart, buy your next bike with your head and think carefuly, it looks good but you could soon get bored of it, geat fun for the short term but frustrating thereafter. Something I regretably I did with my 10R  :emb: I am now thinking that buying with careful thought and various long test rides is the way to go on purchasing your next bike. I like KTM's but couldn't live with one.

yep, gotta say moto,s are fine for messing around the local roads on a sunday morning  but anything other than that can be a real pain, buy a cheap 2nd hand one and keep the 10!
