Its got little to do with the price of the R6 .. all non UK products are more expensive courtesy of the weak pound. 

Anyone tried to buy tyres (2009) recently ?  Up at least 30% on last year.

Yeah tyre prices have gone absolutely mental this year - I was quoted 260 for a set of Power Ones and 250 for Racetecs the other week  [wall]

Like the R1 /R6 but wouldnt pay that , they will probably be discounted next year to shift them anyway, cant see them moving big numbers at those prices.

why is 10k for an r6 outrageous?

bet most of you would pay 10k for a car?

a bike has way more r&d involved plus loads of top technology compared to your average car!
