Right the story to go with the pics.....(wouldn't let me upload it all at once)

Well

After many weeks of beavering away like a madman in my garage....here is the final results.........decided to take pics today as I'm racing at East Fortune on Saturday and trackday at Cadwell following Friday and on my recent history she's unlikely to stay this way.....

Work done....reckon about 40 hours or so.....

Fitted new fairing, seat and belly pan,,,,what a bugger.....had to cut holes in the belly pan to fit around the Akrapovik full system (must stick out lower than the orginal pipe)......and then re-fibreglass bulges into it so it fits back on and maintains the oil catch tank..

Fixed my Akraopovik race can that got wrecked at Croft last year by bending it straight with a metal bar.....fibreglassing the carbon back together and then painting it.....cost nowt and just needs a new sticker to sort it......quite impressed with the result and the bike has got it's proper 104DB bark back as well instead of the crappy road legal 98DB can I've been running since last year........beautiful.

Tank, mudguards and rear hugger rubbed down and painted black with a white stripe.....bloody hell....what a pig of a job....took ages to get it right.....right hand side of belly pan re-painted after landing in the gravel at Croft last time out...........

Really glad I'm not paying someone to maintain my bike for me.....I'd be broke...

Well......as I hate to dissapoint.......smashed the bike up god and proper at Cadwell last week......new leathers and new paint were just too much temptation for the motorcycle gods.  Chris curve 4th gear......touched the inside kerb halfway round and goodnight vienna......suddenly on my back at 85mph.........

Ho hum....gotta laugh havent you.......bike not too bad,  needed subframe, some rearset bits and 2 harris clip on tubes......rest is paint and fibreglass repair and just bashed a huge dent out of the tank and filled it again........leathers are OK but now have the usual club racers scuffs on the back.....

In a word bollocks.....!
