Good stuff Mark  I was there a week earlier (18th Mon) simular lap times 1:20 ish  will admit that now I know the place I can get a wiggle on    and that a lot of the fast group don't seem so 'fast'  Except for Josh Brooks who was there on Steve Brogan's Padgetts Fireblade. Was awesome to see him backing it into corners. And on the right hand exit of the Esses his front wheel was head height as he went past. Sucked the stickers off every bike there while going round. Mega.

Top speed: 159.7mph. / 13278 rpm
Best rolling lap: 1m 15.211s
Theoretical best lap: 1m 14.548s (best all sectors)

As you can see traffic was terrible at times but when there were a few clear laps during the course of the day.  Was on track late last summer with Guy Martin  so know exactly what you mean !

I used to do that all the time   The problem is consistency on track days - track times vary so much so unless you video (and then watch - yawn) every lap its real difficult to get a feel for your best times -- just usually the session or two on camera etc.
