Thanks for the warm welcome guys, as for living in Devon......I have now lived down here since october and am finding it difficult to find where the local bike meets are. I live in the area nicknamed "Gods waiting room" called Colyton near Seaton which is 19 miles east of Exeter. I would love to meet up with like-minded fast road riders to sample roads that I clearly don't know (almost been T-Boned 3 times down here). I am used to the fast roads around the Midlands and riding with Topher (last of the late breakers) and Fido (loud bastard ha ha).

i know colyton and your right!  [rofl] i think most drivers down here are actually still asleep when there behind the wheel! trouble ive found aswell (ive been here 3yrs) is the state of the roads (there shite!)  and the fact that most of them are not really designed for big 1000cc bikes, i tend to do most of my riding when i travel back up to the mids about once amonth. if your looking for a meet then paighton is the obvious one its on wed nights i think and theres a big festival there usually at the end of may begining of june ( LOOK UP ON THE WEB SITE PAIGHTON BIKE FESTIVAL) other than that the southwest bikers meet fairly regularly at various places. save that the best thing to do is to get out early head north to the fosse way just off the M4, ride that all the way to stowe on the wold, great ride!
