I got pulled today by an umarked car. He said he was doing 80 and I was doing 100. I ate humble pie......yes sir......no sir......very bad of me........ He told me to keep my speed down and if he had more than 3.5secs of me doing 100 he would have had my licence.
Got off with a stern talking to.

Shook me a bit.
messed with my head all day.

Thats a good result though not even getting a ticket for 100mph, your very lucky!

reckon there is a bit of a crackdown going on around here (bury st edmunds ) on my way to work recently i've seen 2 unmarked cars that have pulled people over and several marked cars on the a 14 with the laser guns out , lots more than usual . glad you got away with it

I ate humble pie. When he said to me I was doing a 100 I almost said before or after the roundabout and that my tyres were still cold thats why I was only doing 100.. but I bit my tongue and kept quiet.

Problem was I went down th egearbox almost next to hm going into a roundabout. Whne he pulled me I shat myself when I saww the blue lights. small plate, no baffles, dark visor, almost smooth tyre. He checked my tax and my licence.

Yes I was lucky

I think its a crackdown in general. I was stuck in traffic on the M6 south the other week along came an unmarked car flying down the hard shoulder at well over a ton and following it about an inch of the boot was a 08 fireblade with a tiny blue light in the bubble. beware if around the birmingham area of an 08 blade. Red and Black, rider was wearing all black white lid!

result............ ..........a cop thats not lost his common sense...........a stern talking too and it probably slowed you down for the rest of the day......now a scamera would have been a different story........I'd rather take my chances with a cop than a scamera......

Lucky Lad... However there by the grace of god go most of us. Noticed an unmarked police bike on the B3157 in Dorset this week! They had the old ray gun out in Bridport (west bay) today as well.

You were lucky dude   well done, but taking into account your post today and Kev L posting about his un-marked encounter looks like the filth are out and about in a big way and gunning for bikes, maybe as it's the start of the season and the sun is out, a prime time to nab some bikes as they know we'll all be cleaning out the cob-webs and getting rid of our winter frustration. Be careful people and keep 'em peeled.

Hey Yogi yes it was to see you , although it was brief. I twas the Ace or bathroom, I told the missus I didn't have all the bits to do the bathroom and I needed to wait until pay day to get them...  I might have to do some work next weekend

Yeah its primetime for the rozzers pulling bikes now.....just to let us know they are out there.  I haven't seen any unmarked bikes in Hampshire or the south coast, but what is favourite is unmarked sporty Skodas.....3 colours mainly....black, silver and electric blue.  See them regularly on M27 and M3 and all 'A' roads in between.  Will try and get some reg no's.

theres more and more unmarked cars now, mate of mine seen an unmarked black golf gti!!!
