WP shock on eBay
« on: April 16, 2009, 07:22:12 PM »

My WP 4014 spin, originally for a ZX12R but works fine on the 08

As for my other eBay bits, forum members get free postage.

Cheers,

Phil

Good question, I can't remember and haven't taken it off the ten yet, will do so on Saturday and let you know what the marking is.

I think it must be quite stiff as it was set up to be ideal for me on the heavy old 7R. I weigh about 16st and I can get the static sag set right on the 10 with about two turns on the remote adjuster left.

thats a good start, i'm 16st fully kitted. only got an 85 spring on mine so the bike is low at the back and suffers too much weight transfer under power/light front end making the lack of damper even more eye-watering, she shakes like a good un lol.

prob is already had my 08 arm cut and resprayed to accomodate right pointing shock resi of my 04/05 spec one, tho back of arm still just kissing shock resi - prob due to large bumps/soft spring/lard arse - hoping stiffer spring will stop this. got a 95 spring on order but going to take a few weeks...

How much for a quick sale?

Well, tempting as it is, I've stated in the listing that I'll let the auction run, so to be fair I'll do that.  It'll be quicker than a few weeks in any case  ;-)

The shaking is half the fun though isn't it? Don't expect I'll need a damper on the 1400 though.

Hi there again. Got the WP shock off the 10 (after one last run before the px). The spring is marked 95-175, which I guess means it's just what you need.

Cheers,

Phil
