that doesn't work any more I have tried that manytime with stuff off ebay and I had to end up paying duty or they wouldn't release the goods....

well I must be an exceptsion, as never had a problem. Just receintly bought a Garmin gps and got through no probs.

I have just come back from the Post Office now after having to pay a customs receipt for something I bought from New Zealand - package weights about 100 grams is valued at 30 quid and cost me 10 quid in duty  :roll:

come on Dave what is it, I'm sure everyone want sto know  [whistle]    [rofl] [rofl] 

I bought my lad some stuff a few years back and got stung on it, I thought I would so expected it really but tax on the cost of postage as well as the item is taking the piss in my book, frigging country  :tongue2:

They'll screw him on the fuel though and road tax if he uses it in a vehicle.           :shock:
