I dont think it is fair to say that Rossi has been racing GP 'journeymen' for years.  The fact is that Rossi has been in a league of his own, and that is mainly down to his incredible talent.  He is an absolute natural.  It is fair to say that Stoner is a fantastic rider, who is a threat to Rossi's crown, and he will probably only get better.  But if there is one thing that is for sure, Rossi always seems to have an abilty to go the extra mile, just when you think its impossible.

As for charisma.....Stoner is like a septic asshole...he just keeps weeping.

wot about Assen (Mmmm was it Assen when he had that ridiculous colour scheme) and he was beind stoner for 10 laps then got past - just and won on a season when his bike was shite

Even if rossi never won another race he is one of if not THE greats of all time....

not just his riding skill but look wot he's done for the sport in general - without him this class would of prob collapsed yrs ago

They dont call him the GOAT for nothing. Stoner has a long way to go before he can be considered Rossis equal.
Hes gonna have to grow a personality as well. He'd fit right in in the formula 1 paddock!

Not a very good record

Well, where they went proper "head to head" that puts him 2 -1 up, and if you compare their 800cc records then Stoner is quite a way ahead in victories

nobody is criticising rossi, his record speaks for it self.

i think he is with out doubt the greatest racer ever, but at this moment in time he is not the quickest rider in motogp and it remains to be seen if rossi can pressure stoner into crashes again.

it,s easy to have a go at stoner,he does not have rossi's grin factor and comes across badly sometimes in interviews, but he obviously hates losing and the fact is he rides the wheels off his ducati.

how dull would it be without him???
