I have nothing against gay people in general but feel that it would not be the right environment to bring a child(boy or girl) up in. Children with one parent already have a hard enough time turning out well adjusted, a father figure is almost essential for any child but the maternal bond is simply more important(depending on state of said woman of course). Also these children are in care, they have most likely had a turbulant time in the last few years and need to be in as safe(comfort of feelings wise) and normal environment to minimise further torment. I also do not believe that if i where a single male that i should be allowed to adopt either as i really dont think its in the real interest of the child. Sorry guys but its not about equality its about childrens lives.
