Thought I'd pop in and say hello

Thought I'd pop in and say hello to you all. I picked up my brand new 08 10R last saturday from Reading and drove it all the way home to Norwich in the pi**ing rain!!!! Doh! Not the greatest thing I've ever done. I've got it booked in for it's first service next wednesday and I have 300 miles to go, it had better be nice weather this weekend.

LOL I hadn't thought of it like that!! It's something to do with my surname. I'm still running the bike in atm, but it's due it's first service on wednesday and I've got to get another 300 miles under my belt by then, I'm off for a nice ride to Kings Lynn then following the coast all the way round to Lowestoft today so that should be another 200 miles out of the way.

I have Kawasaki blood in my veins big time. My first ever bike was a Blue ZXR750J2, then a ZX9R, then a few years off with a bit of sporadic biking on a mates Blackbird, now the 10R. I'll let you know how I feel about in in a few weeks time after my ride down to Kent to see my mates with their new 09 R1's and a trip down to Rye with some very familiar roads...
