Insurance Nightmare!

Well imagine my surprise when I received letter from my Insurance company (who I've been with for 6 years) policy is up for renewal on 5th April, letter reads:

"we note from our files that the motorcycle now has a Daytime MOT...

In view of this we are unable to offer you a renewal premium. However if you do have a vehicle that you wish us to provide a quotation for, please contact our office to discuss"

BASTUARDS! bike has had Daytime MOT for 2 years, when asked why the change, just get underwriters will not cover..........................

Sod them will take my money elsewhere, so after 2 hours calling around and 8 Insurers later found ONE "HOORAY!" Bennetts will cover me and cheaper than last one.

Right rant over, roll on ride down too Ace Cafe on 19th.

guess its not just your previous insurer that had the issue with daytime MOT as only one of the 8 you tried will cover you

think insurers have cottened on to people trackdaying there bikes with a daytime mot and when its gone worng on track then claiming for a road accident to cover it over

(not saying you have or would)
