Line manager in an aerosol factory. Only interesting part of it is we make 35 million units of WD-40 a year there. Chances are if you have used any we made it. Been there 19 years but taking redundancy in next few weeks. Couple of months off and some serious riding to come  [greenie]

Engineering Manager for a Paint making factory, different projects keep things different but not exciting plus anything to do with managing  people is a complete pain in the arse!! [wall]

Brick and stone mason.....although i have traded the outside work for an inside job....now i repair steel mills and cement plants...refineries and acid tanks...all are lined in brick


12 hours a day 7 days a week till the job is done

I'm a Senior Administrator for ICAS - Independent Complaints Advocacy Service.
We support people in making a complaint to the NHS about the service/care they have recieved. It's normally elderly, disabled, distressed or mentally ill people we support but we do suppost anyone.

The calls I take can be quite interesting but also quite upsetting sometimes.

So if you or anyone you know wants to make a complaint to the NHS and doesnt quite know how or doesnt feel they have the strength to do it on their own please pass on our details:

i had a cold last week and went to the docs to try and get a sick note for the week so i could go out on me bike! the bastard wouldnt give me one! ...can i complain???? :tongue3:

I'm a Services Manager for a large construction company in the midlands,  just had a 2% pay rise which in the current market is a result :icon_thumright:

I work for the Fire Service in Scotland, still interesting after 19 years but it's going the through a lot of change at the moment, not all of it good.
 Still has its moments though.  :icon_thumright:

Am a Safety Training Coordinator for drilling but will be redundant in May.
