i did mine with a wet mix.layed a 2 " bed then layed slabs down ,ran a small drop from the house,kept slabs level with a long spirit level

 ....what you can get patios out of the bag now?Fook,thats clever and it proves it you even get to lay on a 2" matrice and get to run beer on tap.......stop STOP!!!....you aint funny...you've been told!!

I have never done this before but tell me what you think

first day dug out to 6" then concretes second day , what they call spot and dotted ( apparently ) and then laid the slabs...

ok they are a bit wonky but its better than what was there 

No wonder it's wonky, you got some fat bastard walking all over it when the concrete is still wet.



Looks ok to me G, I would have had 4" of scalpings under the dot 'n dab myself whacked hard so it won't move. 

Can't talk I've layed ours on a bit of shingle I found, but it's only short term.      5 years is short term, right?
