yea, i certainly wouldnt have it as my only job but i guess it could fit in as a nice sideline for someone running around their area and working with bike shops anyway

Actually I disagree .. the US sales industry is almost entirely sourced on a 100% commision basis and you have to work and develop relationships in sales.  Thats why US sales guys do well in the UK - they are not used to be propped up by salarys and are always working as if on a commison only basis.  If you want it - you'll work for it.

well it dose`nt work like that this is the uk not the U.S and the bike trade is fucked, i get pestered by reps all the time and most of them do my head in.
This would be very hard work as most main stream dealers cant be arsed with tyre reps cus there is no money in them. Plus you cant do this as a side line or if your a rep for another company, your contracted to pirelli.

Plus if your "mates " are daft enough to buy a new Bee emm on the back of one months sales then maybe they aren't all that shrewd ?

your right dont know if you remember but i mentioned a few weeks ago i was packing up 24-7racebikebitz and taking over a well know bike shop, well it was in the bag but it was a franchise on a self employed basis , in short you have to sell and meet your target to get a wage and when i sat and thought about it selling bike accessories with the way things are is fooking hard work, even though the pay packet is uncapped, but if you dont sell and meet your target your fooked.
