Theres a few of last seasons race bikes starting to filter down now and I'm seriously considering it.
Not a lot would catch it.
I reckon it'd give most of the BSB paddock a fright
You'd have to spend a fair bit of money on tuning it first - Triumph claim a max 130BHP at the crank for the Speed Triple & that's only 4 more than they reckon the 675 Daytona is putting out!
Plus there's more than a good chance that the heavier engine & associated mounting compromises (engines do appear to be rather different designs) would ruin the natural balance & steering that the 675 has.
Would be cheaper, quicker & you'd almost certainly get better results by going down the supercharger/turbo/nitrous on the 675 engine route, assuming of course it could handle the extra ponies....
Would be cool to see someone try it though, so don't let me put you off !
