if you need help getting started just pm me,,there is a good DZ in Nottingham call Langer, or its full name is British parachute schools........this place is tops mainly because its open 7 days a week including xmas day....(nothing beats jumping from 10,000 on xmas day espesial when its -10 at altiude,,,then landing and having a hot toddie.............
Headcorn is another down south,, and a realy cool place to hang out is peterbrough,,,,
but hay come up North and we can spoilyea with the Black Knights Para centre,,this is my local DZ they now have a full tarmac runway and a full time porter plane,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
just to show the differance a cessna 185 with 5 jumpers on board will take 45 mins to 10,000 feet
but a porter with 9 jumpers on board will take just 15 mins to get to 13,000 and will fly passed you in free fall and be on the ground with another load on ready for take off just as you land........................
