Hmm, good on you for making your own bracket, :headbang: Brembo makes a real nice billet bracket for the 83mm calipers for the 04-05/08-09. It is pretty cheap too. (probably not as cheap as homade though)

yes brembo do make one but say its for use with aftermarket wheels only (smaller OD on hubs)

zxrich i bet there's just enough room for a rizzla between inside edge of caliper and wheel hub... its like this on the ladybird bracket i bought had to file a bit off edge on caliper (unless you lowered it slightly so pads not in full contact with swept area of disc...)

Yeh it was far to close a fit,
I removed the inside piston and measured the wall thickness of the casting in that area, I managed to mill away approx 3mm of casting.
This left me 2mm clearance between the caliper and the hub {wall thickness in this area is around 3mm at the thinest point}

I looked at the ladybird site but didnt know how the ferk to order one as it was all in Japanese  [rofl]

How did you go about getting yours?

Any Brembo supplier should be able to get it, I got mine from Yoyodyne in the US,  I am running PVM wheels, and I checked it with the  rear BST off my 06 and both fit. It is tight against the hub, so that is probably the clearce issue with stock wheels they are refering too, but they have been wrong before, Brembo claims it fits the 06-07 too, but they are not even close to the same, I tried it.  04-05 and 08-09  I know it fits! I don't have any stock wheels lying around to see exactly what the clearance issue is. Sorry. I have the HP caliper with it and that is a pretty sweet upgrade from the 34G, which is what I originaly had, and what the OP has.

there was a link to a kinda poorly translated site for international orders, think it was 'spiralspinner'  something.
been to a local engineer to make a copy out of two pieces ot plate for simplified mass production, if it works our should be able to offer it to forum  members  :icon_thumleft:

Excuse me for my use of $$$, cause I do not know what the exhange is, but I paid about 200$ for the Brembo Hanger, I was using a 34G (Ducati 2 piston side feed brembo) you can get them for about 50$ on ebay, I then bought the HP caliper, comes with sintered pads, I paid right at 460$ for it.  SO about 660$ total, MSRP on the whole setup is around 750$, so I got a bit of a bargin.
