truthfully its not that impressive to be honest, think about it, if you've ever used a jcb digger you have probably at least partially lifted it off the ground with the shovel, plus if you look at it its got a hook at the base front hooking it to the tower everytime the base comes onto it.  for me the real impressive thing is building the tower that was able to hold the weight and angle of the digger

again yes and no, he is nicely strapped into the digger and diggers can take one hell of a fall/hit so i doubt even if it fell off he woudl be that damaged, secondly he can see if the hook has locked or not cause its in front of his legs, a bit like saying if that mountain climber fell off the mountain and he didnt clip the rope to the rock then he will fall to his death

i`v driven these before and made a mess of my garden with one when i thought it would be a good idea to dig it up and make some changes, and after a few hours there fairly easy to get the hang of but i certainly would`nt do that, its so fucking high, to me that is proper crazy!

I think thats pretty crazy.Having worked in the hydraulics industry for many years i can appreciate the risk he is taking.Should one of the pumps fail whilst using the arm to climb he would be up shit creek without a paddle.Though good publicity for liebherr seen as how it worked.
