28 days on/28 days off rota. When am on it's 14 hour day plus am on call 24 hrs for those 28 days

Dave
Yeah, but not a lot else to do but work is there. My dad and brother both go offshore and they say you might as well work and get some money as nothing else to do. (My brother does 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, but my dad it better. 2 weeks on, 3 weeks off - drives my mum mad).

Flexi sort of hours.

I'm contracted for 37.5 and normally do about 40-44 so I log them all and then take them off when the weather is good or I just feel like it.

I had all of Christmas off using banked up hours and no holidays taken.  I have since then accumalated another 7 days in over time.  I eat on the hoof (glad horse is away) as well so don't lose hours to lunchbreaks or tea breaks.

No set time to get in to work or to leave, which is why I love my job but not the pay, but I'm normally there for 8 ish and away between 5 and 6 dependant on work load and how I feel.

Official holidays are 25 days plus BH and 1 Local Authority Shutdown day (usually Dec 27th)
