So here is another slant on this issue, so people that go out riding without Full Leathers and speeding! does this constitute Dangerous Driving. This is my pet hate, peolpe out in jeans and tshirts in summer or as I have seen men with girlfriends with shorts, tshirts and flip flops on back, will they be stopped for Dangerous Driving now, or because there over 14 are they excempt?

Adult pillions are responsible for their own decisions ... Minors are not. Conditions play a big part so does the degree of speeding.

You cant generalise but few on here would argue that 122mph in the pouring rain with a poorly dressed minor that he is legally and morally responsible for is "sensible" or "safe" ... would they ? Or maybe some others think that its entirely acceptable..

Also seems to be lost that he pleaded GUILTY - he didn't offer or make a defence.

Bonkers Britain  [wall] [wall]

I don't care what speed the bloke was doing, it doesn't justify a prison sentence [naughty], there are people committing far worse crimes against the public on a daily basis and all they get is a chuffing ASBO or community service.

Not so long a ago a friend of the family ( 50 yr old lady) was attached by 3 teenagers, she ended up having both her ankles broken in the attach, the scumbags didn't get a custodial sentence :icon_scratch:

And for the minor, well if a 13 yr old boy can be a farther

It's always just before the season starts you'll get some numpty (and yes in my opinion he is, no reguard for his sons welfare, I'm sorry but pillions should be protected if not better than the rider as they have no control) who will hit the headlines by doing something stoopid and end up getting caught/posting it on a video hosting site or is a prolific offender and then put the backs up of the filth and the like who then bring out campaigns to kerb our behaviour come the sunnier months. Don't get me wrong, I for one love to hoon and have a good time on a bike with various antics and so on but I prefer to quietly take the piss out of the fuzz and doo-gooders without bringing myself to unwanted attention. I think the saying goes "a time and a place".
