Hi chaps
Posted this on the 'other' site, but thought I'd spam in here as well
Since fitting 6 LED sidelights and HIDs been really impressed how much bike gets noticed.
Had a couple of ebay LED T10 single bulbs knocking about so thought I'd fit them... job took about 25mins.
The bulbs are only tiny, about 12mm in diameter... same as these..

- solder wires to LEDs
- melt two tiny holes in top of ram air intake to accept wires
- thread wires through and super glue on bulbs to fairing (they weigh nothing)
- splice into sidelight loom
JOB DONE, here are piccys... it's rough and ready if you peer under fairing but looks great!
close up of LED, looks weird coz of reflection..
wires coming up into dash area under screen (behind clocks), black wire would be better
light in place but off...might spray them black and mount a little better
finished result..
at some stage I might mount them right in front of nose cone, but I didn't want to drill holes in fairing without first seeing how they worked with wet weather on the leds..
so in total up front I have 2 * 6 LED sidelights, 2 * up high single LEDS, 1 * 6k HID low and a OEM high beam... gets me seen pretty good
