Anyone own a 350z?

Am considering perhaps buying one later in the year. Would be interesting to hear peoples opinions and experiences of ownership....  :icon_thumright:

Wasn't really looking for anything in particular - just peoples comments on ownership really. And possibly anything specific is should look out for when searching for one - other than the regular stuff when purchasing a car.  :icon_thumright:

Hi Chris,

I was also looking for 1 about a year ago, its a lovely car, fast and handles well, however when looking at whats about for the same sort of money and being a fan of german cars I eventually got an M3, 350 hp as well as typical bavarian engineering. In addition, according to Clarkson they have now lost there reputation for being a 'Cocks car' as Cocks now drive Audi RS's (These are Clarkson's words not mine if there are any RS owners on here).

Would like an m3 but think the running costs would be a tad high compared to the zed.  :icon_thumright:

They're slower than the old 280z.
No boot and hardly any room inside.
They drive nice enough but they're not a real performance or drivers car.
There's lots more out there for that money.
S3, R32, M3, etc.

I realise they're not the fastst thing out there but really like the looks a lot. And they sound awesome with a set of pipes on too.  :headbang:

I've sat in one and they are very plasticky on the dash though

my best mate birds got one, said its shit, they have been really disappointed with it.
Think the thing that was the let down was the power for a 250 ish bhp car there fairly slow.

Built well though, but you cant beat a german car for quality.

my mate had a 350z he was really disappointed... said he would never recommend it to anyone.... said it was always going wrong.... he has just bought an M3 convertable and said he loves it...

i'd go M3 the price has come down so much now and they are an awesome car.... hardly ever go wrong with a good one and the only real downside is full service costs ... other than that they are amazing
