There is a firm in the States selling mounts call "Sticky Pods". Brilliant idea, brilliant product but tooooo much money for my liking.

So I decided to give it a go.
The parts I used were just what I had lying around and if I were doing it again Id try to source some better stuff (bigger suction cups and a more upmarket swivel mount). As a prototype though Im very pleased with it.
Im going to attach the mount complete with Camcorder to the side of the car when I go in to town late for a shakedown test. Should be interesting (I ALWAYS secure my cameras with a lanyard when on a vehicle as a safety net).
There may be the possibility of me going in to production with these but, as I said, with better components.
