hey from norn iron
« on: January 21, 2009, 03:18:16 PM »

hi folks i have a zx10r 2004 with 15k on the clock, i love it too bits, i have toured, tracked and flew about the backroads an blasted down the motorrways, it has to be the best bike ever made. i recently made a big boobo, the brackets holding the taillight on broke off and i super glued them in place, unfortunately it mooved over night and the glue ran and has left a run on the outside of the tail piece, does any of you lot have any advice of how to get this off my paintwork and where i can get lime green paint to match it.

you can get touch up paint on ebay but i have never used it so dont know how good it is, to get it off 2 opotions i can think of, tru and chip/peel it off and hope the damage aint too bad or very carefully with nail polish remover and a cotton bud

Welcome to here mucker.  Another Norn Iron man eh?  Good to see. :icon_thumleft:  I bought some of the touch up for my own green 10 from Bike Colours and it was as good a match as you could hope to get to be honest so you could give them a try.  All the best.
