believe that a Gixxer 750 K5 with a Racefit Mega,PC3,filter and -1 on the front sprocket would outdrag a ZX10R 05 with race can,PC3 and filter from 60mph up to 130mph..........?

I'd say neck and neck upto 130. Depends if the 10R rider can nail it as early as the Gixxer.

to be honest i would say maybe yes?  :icon_scratch: but thing will be down to rider and shift pattern?

problem with the 10 is all them horse in a light chassis?  gixer maybe heavier  :dontknow:

Me and Fridayman had a roll on test both in 4th about 60 mph....he pulled a bike length on me straight away!!!.....mine bogged down a little, but cleared Her throat, then promptly picked up Her knickers and FOOKED off!!...The Gix had no answer to it...BUT its the fact that it pulled a bike length and held it up to 130 that counts in my book!!!
Mightily impressed with that....BUT...not far behind was Fridaymans Missus on Her Gix6 K6!!!....Impressed!!!

Now....gonna fit me bigger rear sprock and see if my PC3 needs resetting after fitting the Growler!!

the gixer has the same front sprocket as the 10 but 4 more teeth on the rear (i think) so up one on the front once it got going it would hold the gear longer n no wheelie all over the shop but the 10 should sort it out by 3rd gear (me hopes).

The guys on the Gixer site think I'm talking bollocks...

My bike is actually a K6, and I also have a R1 throttle tube fitted (shorter action).

If Yogi's bike hadn't bogged, I reckon we would have been side by side upto 130. When he did come past the 10 just cleared off though!

I'm running 16/43 gearing (I think the rear is 43).

not really a good test though , as I think yogi was saying he put the servo back in since outting on the growler so I reackon the PC3 needs a tweek... But if they both had optimum fueling then the 10 might just have an advantage...  :icon_thumright:

sounds about right your bike will have a quicker punch then rev out quicker .
mind if your both in 4th your 750 will be reving higher so will pick up quicker.

In reality folks..... Yogi's bike was trying to wheelie to the moon while Fridayman's had it's front wheel firmly planted on terra firma..... something to do with extra ballast he's carrying???  :dontknow:
