well!

we went out today,  myself, Paul, Patf and Whiterabbit (Andy).

It was a good no no-nonsense run with few incidents, cheers guys  :icon_thumright:

Ooops, I lied....................it was incidents a plenty  [rofl] [rofl]   I recall that Pat left his stomach contents somewhere in the forest, well in several locations actually  [whistle] and Andy managed to take quite a bit of the soil back home with him due to not getting on with his funky pedals  [rofl] [rofl]

I haven't laughed so much in ages  [rofl] [rofl] [rofl]

Most of my day was split between gasping for breath and shouting to Andy "don't get up,this is a photo opportunity" [rofl]  [rofl] [rofl] [rofl]

pics to follow  :icon_thumright:

For all that I went through the laughs we had made up for it. I must remember not to party the night before though.

Cheers lads....brilliant few hours and laughed loads...even when I was upside down in the mud.  Damn those SPD pedals...

True grit shown by Pat for carrying on......he threw up so much I thought he'd converted to Islam and kept having to stop to pray to mecca.  [pray] [pray]  :icon_puke_r:

Really enjoyed it and can't wait for the next run out....was ok when I was in the saddle...about 30% of the time.

Looking forward to pics...I'll post the ones I took later on too.

well, it's Andy WR's fault that I've had to replace the pushbike with a new one  [whistle]

here's the new family member (GT i drive pro 2005) and it's bloody lovely, just needs a service. Don't you just love those ebay bargains, just don't ask about the collection journey and getting stuck in the snow on the pennines in the middle of nowhere  :emb:

Very nice Andy.....and the right colour!  Ebay bargains rock  :headbang:

Personally, I can't get on with FS bikes....I prefer a hard tail hence my purchase of  a Rockhopper Comp.  FS bikes are great for descent, but for me in everyday riding have far to much bounce and I don't like it.  Personal thing I know...

Look forward to seeing it out and about...
