cycling
« on: January 18, 2009, 09:18:01 PM »

Well,

it all starts on Sunday next week, fat old me is starting a cycling regime

got the bike all serviced now and bought myself a 'tracky' sort of thing as I'm not quite ready for lycra just yet  [whistle] [rofl]

got my m-x gloves ready and fuck me I feel tired even thinking about it

but hwy oh why oh why does this urge for off road cycling make me 'need' a new bike altohugh my Saracen thing is fine really and has a new crank, disc brakes and full suspension  [whistle]

If I had a few bob I'd certainly get myself anice Gt bike like the i-drive  like this

or a Specialized FSR

I think I'll have to ban myself from ebay  [rofl]

I ride the best off both worlds, have Specialized Epic S-Works with Brain! so get Hardtail on road and full suspension when off road. Mind you comes at price................have built this bike over years and 24hr competions and other things (bike just stands me under 4 Grand)

horse has that bike got 2 pot front brakes  .

i want to get back in to cycling but the bike i've got is over 10 years old with a bukeled rear wheel and the peddle arms come loose

when i get (afford) back in to it i'd go for a hard tail with adjustable front so you can stiffen it up for road riding.

Got some great places for mountain bikes around Wrexham, Coed Llandegla is really good for all levels of ability.
