wooohooo  it now has disc brakes too,ok cable operated but all sorted and free from our 'push iron spares box'  :headbang:

front gear mechwas seized solid but all sorted now too  :icon_thumright:

I now feel the need to change my bike for a full sus DH/FR bike.

Well sometimes facts just have to be pointed out.

I used to ride jumps, 4x/dual tracks and street/park pretty much everyday so fixing things on the bikes and setting them up was a pretty regular occurence until i upgraded my bike to a kind of unbreakable spec.

and again but loads more off track and came back covered head to toe in mud. We covered 9 miles this week so a couple more than previous weeks and much of it was through mud , what a great time and Iam knackered big time.

well it's now week 7 for the North west cycling oldies and all came to a halt after 2.5 muddy miles on Satwhen mybottom bracket snapped  :cry:   anyhow, a new one willbe here for Weds  :icon_thumleft: and we managed to get to Oulton  for a few hours instead

Well....come on Andy J with the pics from yesterday....what a laugh!....

After my fall within 20yards of getting on my bike....was a very sharp left turn I may add...and then another fall...about 10yrds further up...thought this was going to be a long day. But was brilliant fun and managed to keep my balance for most of it!

But once I started...so did everyone else.  I think Andy had a wobble but nothing more, whereas the rest of us fell off about 10 times in 100 yds...the mud was sooo deep.

Great exercise and brilliant banter from the NW boys.  Brought a mate along too who had a ball.  Thanks guys  :headbang:
