New member of the family
« on: January 12, 2009, 08:50:00 PM »

Well the waiting is over , my Ten arrived delivered by a nice man in a white van, what can i say the grin on my face said it all, so glad i traded the vfr for it.
All i need now is a dry day and i will roll it out for a quick blast round Glencoe , the roads should be clean as the last couple of days it has been lashing it down.
Got the week off so fingers crossed !
looking forward to getting back on a sports bike, looking back on those few months with the vfr i think the main emotion i can recall was frustration, just never seemed to gell with the bike , changed from a sports bike to a sports tourer to soon i think.
Its an 06 plate so not brand new but pretty imaculate a credit to its previous owner just 0ver 5500 miles on it so its all good, just need to save up some money now for some cans and to upgrade the brakes braided hoses etc.
Cheers
Kinny

At the mo all the bike has is d/b screen and some crash bungs so only very light cosmetic , no performance goodies the bike is standard in that department , not sure if i will keep the crash bungs on it either.
So plenty of possibilities for sure ! , just the small matter of funding to sort out.
Then the list will begin!, until then its window shopping.

Welcome buddy - enjoy the new ride although I think the above will be tantamount to taunting the devil - if you remove them it's bound to go tits up  [naughty]
