well mine had every bolt on your could think of bar lightweight wheels....

had 9000 on the clock was black and I got a wanky price for it but needs must.....

the buyer got a bargain for sure



std ones aint always mint just mean the owner either doesn't have a bottomless pit or they can't be arse to trick it up.....

most of the guys on here do some sort of bolts on... i barely see a really standard ten private ... unless they had bits and removed them.... to which the comment about them not being totally mechaincally good.... is rubbish....  it all depends on who is doing the tool work....

I had altamura do mine and was all spot on .....

very nice bike i must say
 
im jus thinkin i may be wrong that if a bike has a slip on  power commander and other power upgrades that theres more chance it has been ridden hard surely its better to buy a bike thats been ridden hard without the upgrades  than with  :-P
purely due to the fact that manufacturers settings are lower than wen tuned hence more damage can be done wen tuned

well my mate jus been to see the bike and its covered in stone chips all round fork leg bottoms and the front guard legs are also stone chipped really badly and the nose cone is also hammered that bad the guy in the shop offered to put a new one on for me , my mate bought a 636 brand new has done 18000 miles and has got no where near as much damage so we thinkin its been clocked so ah well back on the hunt if any one on here knows where theres a straight clean one let me know got cash sat here burnin a hole in my pocket   :-P :-P

im up for owt as long as i sat on a black zx10  :-P :-P :-P

I wouldn't jump to conclusions about it being clocked just by the amount of stone chips  [naughty]

I have quite a lot of stone chips on mine, especially as you say on the fork legs bottoms (paint is very thin!) and around the font facing parts of the bodywork.

Stone chips are common on bikes but more-so if you ride in a group (which i do more often than not) so i wouldn't write a bike off so easily just by the stone chips. The general condition of everything else plays a bigger factor not forgetting the way it rides too.  :icon_thumright:

hmm i understand wot ya sayin mate but the guy i had  look at it  like i said has a 636 with a lot less  damage than that had and he rides in a large group hes been allover europe on it and its not where near as bad as this one he was very dubios to say the least its a long way for me to go so i think ill trust his judgment anyway because for me its a hell of a lot of money to throw at something that could "possibly" have done a lot more miles than it says , after all its very easy to knock a digital clock back ,just not worth the risk in my opinion but thanks for the input its greatly appreciated   :-S

No worries buddy. It's your money and you've got to spend it wisely. I wasn't saying you should buy the bike or anything don;t get me wrong. Was just saying that stone chips are common as hell - if you ride closely (which i know you shouldn't) to each other you do get loads of stone chips. I have them all over my helmet aswell  :mad:
