I wouldn't think so albeit I don't know the exact difference but they are most certainly different qualities, I'd expect that superglue would crack ond lose grip from vibration, just get some loctite thread stuff :icon_thumright:

I used superglue a few yrs back on a bolt that retains the heel plate on a footrest hanger, had to take off the footrest hanger and grind the bloody bolt off.

Chris the loctite 243 is deffinately the one you want it should be blue, they make a green one to which is a stud / nut lock! Don't be tempted to use the green one you won't get it apart again, well not without a fight!
