Speed Cameras and fog.
« on: December 31, 2008, 08:29:40 AM »

Ok, driving along again and today with it being foggy I wondered how good are speed cameras in the fog. (No I didn't go passed one too fast). I was thinking that those that use flash might not work very well.

Not sure if speed camera's work.....but it surely would have be very dense fog....its only about 30-40 metres that they register you over.  So surely must work....

HOWEVER!!!!

Don't be fooled by fog....9am this morning.....emptyish M6....cruise control on....NEE NNAHHH NEEE NAH!!!

Got done for 90mph....3points fixed penalty...

Well that is the alternative view....

Just surprised they could be bothered to get out of their nice warm beemer on a cold day like today for such a triviality, if they were to apply those standards down here they'd be so busy they'd never get any donuts eaten....   :tongue3:

Again we are in complete agreement. I would have said 'all' rather than 'most' tho. Its a prerequisite of the job.
