we won alton best lights for four years, we were on telly every year and in the papers and our house used to raise 2000 pounds a year for charity. we had well over 5000 visitors to see them...some kids apparently would not go to bed until they had seen santas house as it was called by some, but divorce, single parenting, and now one arm out of action,  have put paid to any lights on the house...planning a big return for next year though...

I've been really boring this year and not put up one bit of trimming!
But I have been in Gran Canaria (got back yesterday ) and will be at parents for most of xmas so not really missed not having any lights or anything up.

It's nice to see the efforts other people have gone to though
