mono shock would be so wrong, twin Ohlins sounds nice old timer   :icon_thumright:

I dreampt of owning a Z1000R but the lure of a GPZ900A1 saw the end of that dream  :headbang:

+1 on the monoshock being wrong !

I'm also one of dreamers that never managed to get one at the time, guess it's an age thing & all the whippersnappers on here are wondering what us senile old gits are getty misty eyed about !

Have thought about maybe buying an old GPz1100 B1/2 (the twin shock model) & rebuilding it as a Lawson rep, only with a bit of frame bracing & modern running gear in the probably vain hope that it'd vaguely handle rather than handle vaguely !

If I did though it'd deffo have to have one other key component of the Lawson rep that the Yogster seems to have sidestepped - a Kerker 4-1 exhaust system!  :headbang:   Guess he's just trying not to offend the neighbours too much !!

Bit of a dream though, 'cos firstly I'd need to get all the existing projects finished......

I'd forgotten about the Kerkers , I was in 'Harris land' there as the Acrs stuff is far too new and civilised  [whistle]

Misty eyed  [whistle]   aye that's the one  :occasion14:

I had the old harris systems on my old bikes!!

Pat the only reason not fitting a kerker is that the Akro gives the best power gains the kerker loses a fair wack!!

Really ?  It's not like there's anything remotely sound reducing in them to get in the way of the exhaust gases !  Guess that's what 25 years of pipework development gives you.   :dontknow:

So, it gonna be ready for spring ?
