Where,s the "New to biking" question?
« on: December 11, 2008, 06:41:08 PM »

Tell you what i haven,t noticed on this forum, is the " Hi i,m new to biking, got my test next week. Do you think a 10R would be a good bike to start on?"question. A Ducati forum i use, sees this chestnut pop up at least once a month. They they usually say "would it be ok to start on a 1098, or should i get the 848 instead ?" (like 848,s don,t go through hedges or summit! ) Now i know were all different and maybe a few on here may have dived straight onto a litre bike but i get the feeling it,s posted to be slightly controversial. Any thoughts ?

We should be expecting one of them post from you soon shall we..... "Hi, my name Mark and I'm new to biking"  lol

Back on topic..... I think you'll find more of those sorts of posts on the CBR or SV forums.  I think you need to earn you wings to get a 10,... well at least the insurance companies seem to think so.
