hi magic ,as glen said we were and are training buddies?i found losing weight a big hard slogg as i'm now 15 stone but was 2 months ago 16.2 to be honest most of it was my diet not eating shit after 18/1900hrs?plus lots of cv less heavier weights too? for eg.
my routine for a guy thats one is starting gym life and trying to loose weight is, find a comfy weight in the gym for the particular excersize and rep on it (ask gln he'll get you a gym routine but here's a quicky)
for chest usually i start 1st rep =20kgs dumbelss warm up incline press
2nd=30kgs pall the way up to the 60kgs-----------but thats only when your advanced
as a starter i would try 15/20 kgs start 3/4 sets of 15,20 reps then so on once youv'e done the routine glen gives you ,then its time for the hard stuff(you have to do over 20mins cv before you start burning fat so e.g if you only do 20 mins on a bike then you burnt 0 fat-in theory)
so i would do 10 mins rowing as good all over cv watch what distance you do and slowly try to increase every time you do it
then 10 mins cycling then 10 mins on the tread mill not nececary running if your heavy but a fast pace walking then a good stretch off after a hot bath ...........
