I was there today, there seemed to be a lot of stuff, but no crowds to force your way through, so I covered the ground a lot quicker.  On the plus side it was easier to take photos and sit on the bikes.

Saw what looked like Superbike magazine's supercharged B-King on the Big CC stand, the KTMs still cut the blood to your legs off when you put your feet down, the Speed Triple is so so tempting, especially with the Arrow pipe, and the new ZX6 fits like a glove, and looks miles better than the 10.  All that and the Bat-bike , and that fabulous Kawasaki 750 with triple spannies on the custom stand.

Funnily enough it's the first year I didn't buy anything, apart from draw tickets for BEN and the Riders for Health.

Well got to agree with whats been said so far. Lot quieter than last year. I'd like to see more stuff by the actual importers (leathers, helmets etc). Also where were Aprillia or the big tyre manufacturers ? I'll probably still go next year, just in case I miss something, which I wont.

Went up on the 30th and I must admit I was disappointed. Not as good as previous years. was thinking about the Excel show in Jan but won't bother if it is as poor. Has anyone been to the Excel show previously?

Went to the Excel show a couple of years ago, it was truly appaling!  No manufacturers & hardly anything else just the cheapo junk stalls

Best show by far used to be the Ally Pally one, heard a rumour that it'll be back next year, I hope so!

Went yesterday, and to be perfectly honest we really enjoyed it. There were only half the people that normally crowd the place and this enabled more time to sit on the bikes. There were some tatty old flea stalls and some of the women were rough as old boots. Although some bargins to be snapped up if you were in the market for cheap Arai's and a smattering of trick stuff. The ZX6R was the star of the show, bloody awesome looking. The new R1 was loverly and even liked the red/maroon frame. With it's new firing order and chassis and suspension expect this to be the kitty to be on next year.
Couldn't tear myself away from the KTM stand though, the new look of the SuperDuke R is fucking lovely  [pray] and the RC8 R is also mega. Good day really.  :icon_thumright:

Just got back from NEC, having spent 8 hours wandering around all the stands and stalls.

Had a good day and managed to bag a set of fabulous looking Harris rearsets at a good price. One of those shows you go to every 3 or 4 years for me. Loads of stalls, but all selling pretty much the same things. Plenty of girlies in lycra around today too !

Bloody cold outside today though...............good job we were all in a minibus !

New BMW 1000 superbike racer was impressive. Spencers NSR 500 in the classic bikes area also. Seemed less stands than usual. Some nice totty on the bikesafe stand.
