Bike Show was disappointing
« on: December 01, 2008, 07:40:35 PM »

Went to the bike show today and must say that all of the mates I went with said that they were disappointed.

There didnt seem to be as much there as previous years especially the accesories and clothing stands.

Also not as many babes as before  :pottytrain2: :tongue3:

What did you think if you went.

I think Bob's letching on Saturday probably caused a mass dolly babe resignation  [rofl]

and yes the accesories were disappointing but then again given hard trading times and the costs of a stand at the show I'm not surprised really  :-/

My company usually takes a stand at a show at the NEC in January.

For 09 though the price almost doubled from the 08 rate, which in itself was hugely up on the 07 rate

And they ask you to sign up for next years event at the end of this years - so I doubt the bike show 2009 will have ANY exhibitors

I'm currently working on the NEC arena, so for me its easy to go and have a look around and free parking, hoping to have a look in Friday morning  :icon_thumright:

I'll let you know my thoughts

PS - Watched Paul Weller practise the other Friday  :hello2:
