cheapness or uniqueness??
« on: November 30, 2008, 10:31:10 PM »

I was just wandering, would people prefer aftermarket bike parts such as ohlins suspension, aftermarket exhausts, brembo mc's etc where dirt cheap or that they are priced fine as they are cause it brings a little uniqueness to your bike since very few other people have them???

it's all about personal modification and the cheaper the better, albeit like you've said we mostly modify in exactly the same way as the next guy which is funny as hell really  [rofl]

i think the most unique bike would be the one that is still completely standard like it left the factory, no crash bungs & seat cowl still with rubber brake lines!  :-P

thats cheapness AND uniqueness!!!  [rofl]

washable 'race' air filer
gear indicator, TRE
Rearsets
different coloured indicator lenses
DB dark screen
carbon everything
Race can / system
Rear shock

Well may I say mine is far from the same as the next guys!! next list off mods this winter:- cut/mod swinging arm also fit underslung small AP rear caliper, Fit full comp carbon airbox, custom air filter and custom made Bell Mounts, and touch wood! nice "Gas powered Ohlins front forks" (am in negotiations), fit new clip ons, quick action throttle and finally set up PCIII, quick shifter and dyno run oh and one more thing get Racefit lads to remove valve from headers and make ane exhaust that looks like GP bike.
