Anyone in Lancs rec` a sprayer?
« on: November 22, 2008, 02:27:27 PM »

Have word that i should finally get my bike back next week! :hello2: ( just in time for snow). :-(  In the meantime i have these ready for when i get her back, however i would like to have them laquered before i fit them. The fella that sprayed them has done a good job but it did take 6 months for him to get round to it, therefore i am reluctant to hand them back to him, then have to wait until next fookin july to see them again! [naughty] any suggestions? Preston,Blackpool, Lancaster sort of areas.Cheers! :icon_thumright:

Wahay!! Bike bike on the road..... good work fella.  Are you allowed to ride it though?!

I've had the same trouble as you with sprayers. They always take soooo long to do something.  However, as theres no preparation time on lacquering, you might be able to get away with a quick job at a car garage.

You could try Jacko's garage just down the road from you. My mate Mark runs the workshop. You could ask for him, mention my name.  He does do foreigners, but would probably take too long.  If it's done through the garage, you'll have to pay, but he'll have it done quicker.

Cheers Paul ! :icon_thumright: I didn,t know Jackson had a bodyshop, will take a mosy down there during the week. Couldn,t get much closer could i? (+BHP fella). well  funny enough things are lookin` up on the " allowed to ride " front. During the week Mrs Magic asked "What do you want for Crimbo?"so i thought to meself " time to test the water here"so i made the suggestion of replacing my damaged gloves, Half expecting a barrage of comments like "NO WAY-FORGET IT or "Do they sell gloves that say.... FOR TRACK USE ONLY!!!"but to my amazement all i got was "what size are they"how cool is that?

Anyone know a good spray shop to sort some small chips? There is one in Leyland RPM Race Paint - anyone know if they are any good?

Couple of local lads i used to use have either packed in or as i mentioned in my post, take just tooooo long to do the job. Chaos suggested in his post to try Mark at Jacksons here in Fleetwood , which i have done, ( dropped fairings off on Monday)Will let you know what sort of job returns. :icon_thumright:
If ZX10r Bob reads this post he may suggest someone in Blackpool ( I think) :icon_scratch: Made a nice job of spraying his zx10 track fairings.
