Well, I gave my bike into a kawa dealer to see where i went wrong with fitting the GIPRO cause i couldnt see anything wrong and in return they lent me a er500 they had lying around from their learner training.  They called me today to tell me that they can find nothing wrong with the way its installed so the GIPRO must be fucked.  So off i trundle to pick up my bike.

As i am riding a bike i dont know, has no fairings so windy as fuck and its a little underpowered i was sitting in the middle lane of the motorway on my way to the place when some old fucker in the fast lane decided he needed to take the exit and pulled right in front of me.  I was sent flying spun across into the slow lane under a car and had my shoulder and leg run over by the rear wheel of the car and ended up lying partially under the bike. 

The driver that hit me and the driver who ran over me pulled up and started inspecting their vehicles for damage totally ignoring me, fortunately a few cars behind was an ANWB truck(dutch version of the AA) who pulled up with another guy and lifted the bike off me and stuck me in his cab called the cops and an ambulance.  The cage drivers continued examining their damage and then went to the bike to see what damage they had caused to that. 

After aout 5 minutes they sauntered over to see what had happened to me, when the guy who ran over me heard that he had done that he promply got in his car and left.  The ambulance arrived stuck me on a spine board and rushed me to hospital (i was trying to tell them i was fine)  the police delt with the other guy i will call them tomorrow to find out more.

Well I got to the hospital was asked for a urine sample which was good as i was dieing for a piss so i managed to give them a litre and a half. They then took a million X-rays of every part of my body started asking me if anything had happened to my left arm cause it was as swollen as the right(the one driven over) and i had to explain that despite being a skinny fucker they where actually just muscles, then they dissapeared for a couple of hours to do the things doctors and nurses do.  Finally they came back and told me i was fine, no injuries at all except a little bruising

So good news i can get a new jacket trousers helmet etc off the guys insurance and the bike(despite not being mine) is hardly damaged cause it had those stupid learner bars on it.

i know how you feel truescot,i've been using my zx6 for work over the last 2 months and i cant beleave how many cars or vans just pull out on ya,id say at least 3/4 cars a day do it,so the chances of not having a off durning a years road riding would be a mirical,at lease you can walk away from it mate and have a little laugh about it theres many i bet that dont.

well, went to the bike shop to pick up my bike and find out whats what insurance wise with the loan bike and all and the guy was very cool about it all said we will work it all out on monday when he can get the bike back and assess damage etc.

I also got called by the police to review my statement given at the scene so i told them as it was and they asked me if i'm sure it went that way and if maybe the wind blew me across or something. 

 The guy had apparently told them he was sitting in the fast lane but did not come into the middle lane and was in fact travelling streight on meening i somhow ran into the side of him, mmmmmmmmmmm. 

I was sitting in the middle lane of a 3 lane motorway that had just opened up anotehr 2 lanes on the right for an exit  i caame o rest in the slow lane with the bike over my leg still a bit in the middle lane how would you guys explain that?? the police dont seam to be able too. 

Anyway they told me it was down to the insurance companies in the end and they have posted me all the guys details.

Glad you're ok! But what about the guy that ran you over? Leaving the scene of an accident is a crime isn't it - especially under those circumstances?

yea but whats the chances of them catching him, no-one got the numberplate of that car
